We offer premium inpatient rehabilitation in the following departments:
Neurological rehabilitation
- Cerebrovascular diseases (stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, sinus venous thrombosis)
- Chronic inflammatory diseases (e.g. multiple sclerosis) of the central nervous system
- Degenerative diseases (e.g. Parkinson’s) of the central nervous system
- Neuromuscular diseases (e.g. myasthenia)
- Muscular diseases (myopathy, muscular dystrophy)
- Damage to the peripheral nervous system (polyneuropathy, critical illness polyneuropathy, Guillain-Barré syndrome, CIDP)
- Brain tumors (operated and non-operated)
- Rehabilitation and follow-up care after neurological surgical procedures on the brain and spine with residual neurological deficits
- Craniocerebral trauma
Internal rehabilitation
- Following visceral surgical procedures
- Gastrointestinal diseases, including chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases, acute and chronic pancreatitis
- Kidney diseases, including dialysis
- Urogenital operations and diseases
- Vascular diseases/surgical procedures (intrarenal and peripheral)
- Amputations of lower extremities
- Polymorbid patients, two or more organ diseases requiring active treatment at the same time
- Malnutrition: short bowel syndrome, absorption dysfunction, swallowing disorders, consumptive diseases
- After infectious diseases
- Gynecological disorders and following gynecological surgical procedures
- Kidney transplants
- Liver transplants
Musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Attrition in the peripheral joints (arthrosis)
- Following endoprosthetic joint replacement or amputations
- Following surgery on the spine
- Following spinal ailments
- Following traumatic damage to the musculoskeletal system
- Inflammatory rheumatic diseases (e.g. gout, rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathy, collagenoses, vasculitides, etc.)
- Non-inflammatory soft-tissue rheumatic diseases (e.g. fibromyalgia, hypermobility syndrome, chronic tendonitis and muscular problems)
- Chronic pain of the musculoskeletal system
- Diseases of the bones (e.g. osteoporosis)
- Occupational reintegration in accordance with ergonomic principles
- Targeted strength and endurance training for non-responders to traditional forms of exercise
- Following sports injuries
- Rehabilitation for high-performance athletes with a sport-specific plan (return to sports)

Patient registration
To register for inpatient rehabilitation, we kindly ask that the attending doctor or surgeon provide a written registration request. Your referring hospital or the Clinic Bad Ragaz will contact your health insurance provider to request cost coverage for your stay.
